The man that stands in Quincy’s shoes today is not the same one from about a decade ago. After he was sexually abused as a child, Quincy turned emotionally inward and began a decade-long battle with the person who would become his own worst enemy—himself. That inner-conflict led to a pornography addiction, and his shame and guilt threatened to overtake him. Quincy’s pain challenged him, confused him and confronted him at every turn. Knowing he needed to release the spirit of anger and self-hatred before it consumed him, Quincy sought a deeper relationship with Christ. In his vulnerability, he found courage. In his struggles, he found his strength. In his prayers, he found the message God charged him to share with men across the globe.
With Beyond the Cave, Quincy is stirring a movement that transforms and empowers young men. Through personal development coaching, mentoring and leadership training, he urges men to shift from world–minded to kingdom-minded, so they can tap into their legacy power, lead from the front and become pillars in their families, communities and schools.
A prolific and passionate speaker, Quincy reaches audiences with an emotional depth that could only come from the most authentic place. Using hip-hop culture as a canvas, he blends his lived experiences, biblical-based teachings and relevant social insight to meet men where they are. But he leads them to where they need to be—in power and in position.
